Week 51 Sometimes You Don't Learn

Well I have left myself nine minutes again to try and type everything that happened this last week so In the words of a very good friend of mine here is my word vomit for the day!

This week went by so fast and we finalized all the plans for the baptism which should be tomorrow at five and cleaned the font and everything and I am super excited for her and so excited to complete this forever family! They have come a long way since we arrived and it has been so cool:)

So biggest miracle of the week happened in the form of a tombe-vous, a cancelled rendez vous where we ended up with three hours with nothing to do so we decided we would go home and get cookies and go pass by some less actives, we were sitting on the bus at the gare and I looked up at the train times and realized we didn't have time so I jumped up and off the bus and my poor blue followed me as the bus started to get ready to leave and we got on and went off a few villes away and when we got there this less active that hasn't been home for the past three months whenever we pass was home, invited us in, let us share a thought and gave us cake and then invited us for Christmas eve the next day when she found out we weren't invited anywhere!!!

We came over the next day and met all of her family who are all less actives and it was amazing they were so cool and even drove us home and now we have an excuse to drop by and say thank you and try and fix a rendez vous! She has four less active kids here and one who is active but lives near Lausanne so we don't see him but it was amazing and I ate so much food haha I thought I would die.

Then the next day we slept in until eight because we couldn't sleep longer than that, opened some presents and chilled then went to church and then off the old bishops house for another BIG meal with lots of meat and food and then skyped the family which was the best ever and then watched Finding Dory and I loved it and it has been the first real movie I have watched since Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out if that puts it into perspective for how old I am in the mission! This upcoming week I hit a year in the mission and these last six months are going to fly by I can already feel it!

This week it hit me in church that I only have two more Sundays left in Swiss and I didn't know what to do for a second because I love this ward so much and everyone here and I cant wait already to come back and see them all!

This week for Christmas we watched Joy to the World which is a church Christmas movie and I would suggest if you want to watch something short and sweet watch it it was great!

We finished off Christmas day with one more less active where we had this thing called Chinese fondue which is not at all Chinese in anyways so I have no idea why it is called Chinese but it was yummy and beef with yummy sauces and I haven't had that in forever because beef is so expensive haha but it was amazing and you should google it to figure out what I am talking about x)

We also had zone training and an exchange in Lausanne where I got to write on a building as a Christmas present which was so cool and was able to see around! I am out of time I love you all I hope you had a merry merry Christmas and have a wonderful new year!!!

Love
Sister Beatty
