Week 49: Christmas is Coming!

This week was a blur haha I started it out heading out to Lyon and then worked in the Val de Soane sector for two days with my Sister Cami Goold and then Wednesday we got our blues!

Mine is Sister Bonnamy which sounds like you're saying bonne ami, which means good friend and honestly when I found out her name I had some trouble figuring out it was her name haha Uur Sister Training Leader is friends with her from before the mission and so she was telling me all about her on Tuesday and I was struggling with her name but I got it now:) She is from the north of France from a city called Rances and is the sweetest thing, super quiet but that will change:) and cooks well! I am excited to learn some more French recipes this transfer:)

This week we hit the ground running by running around to rendez vous with members and less actives because we weren't there for four days in our own area and threw in some contacting which she is cute and hates haha but honestly who doesn't, we do it because we don't have anyone to teach at the moment and so we find people to teach but it is still not the most effective way. There is always better ways, members! As a mission goal we had of 1250 lessons in the presence by our mission tour on Tuesday and we are so close so we are working really hard!

Something cool though that happened though from our contacting was we were able to share the Christmas video with people we met on the streets and teach them about Christ and it was wonderful:)

This week we decorated our apartment a little for Christmas and also went to the Christmas relief society party which was fun and we got to share traditions from all of our home countries and me america haha;) it was fun:) Switzerland is such a mix, one of our members on Sunday made the joke that the tower of babel was built here because everyone speaks different languages, we were planning Christmas out with the family we are going to spend the day with and they were speaking in Spanish together, me in English with their son who was helping explain everything and then French thrown in every now and then because we all speak that haha xD It was a good moment, I am excited for Christmas and it will be here before we know it!

I love you all, continue lighting the world even with just your smiles and faces that I miss haha:)
