Week 42: I did a mission tour this week

Hey everyone:)

Today feels like a dream and so do the past few days.

Friday morning I found out I was coming to the opposite corner of the mission in Switzerland! I am serving in a ville called Yverdon-les-baines with Sister Nikka who is finishing this transfer. She is from Finland and cute and speaks french, english, and finnish! Moi in finnish which sounds like (Moy) means Hi! And Meh means yes haha x)

(There are my two fun facts for ya! As I type at lightning speed before we have branch I mean ward council in like fifteen minutes! X) )

It is crazy serving in a ward after six months in a tiny branch but it will be fun:) And we are going to rock her last transfer!

Sunday I left at noon and went to Bordeaux for a few hours and then said goodbye to my blue which was so sad and hopped on a train to spend the night in toulouse then went the next to lyon, then geneva, then lausanne and then this morning we finally made it to Yverdon! It was absolutely insane!

But it was fun and on the train we even did some fun contacting because we played games and included one young adult sitting with us and then a sweet little 8 year old magic card shark who asked to play with us and then schooled us all with her magic card tricks! It was amazing and crazy! She was so cute x)

My last week in Poitiers was crazy, I turned 20 and had one of the best birthdays ever, and because I had been there so long people knew me well enough that they gave me french recepie books(!!) Which made me so excited and also a vintage washington nationals baseball hat because you know haha:) It was so fun and Sister Merrill was the best and bought me chocolate mousse and it was perfect:) <3

This week we also ported our butts off everynight and slept really well and then finished the week off with a zumba activity for the sisters and then apple tart at a members house to say goodbye:)

I cried a whole lot saying goodbye to everyone sunday, especially the family we were teaching... It was my time to go but for six months I tried putting everything I had into that little branch and all those amis and leaving hurt but I will go back for sure:)

On saturday because we didnt have much time we ran out to grab lunch and ended Up running into a little marching band thingy majiggy where two different small bands were playing on the streets, one dressed like pirates and the other like disco people it was so funny and I hope the videos went through because they danced and played their hearts out in those outfits!!

I love you all and it will be exciting to see what this next week in a new country is going to hold:)
